Join MCP for a special trio performance celebrating the works of Czech composers at the Czech Center Museum on January 13th from 5:30-7:30PM. Light refreshments will be offered at 5:30PM, with the concert beginning at 6PM. Repertoire will include Darius Milhaud’s Suite for Clarinet, Violin and Piano, Antonin Dvorak’s “4 Romantic Pieces” and “Songs My Mother Taught Me,” Vítězslava Kaprálová’s “Elegie” for violin and piano, Bohuslav Martinů’s “Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano” for clarinet and piano, and Béla Bartok’s “Contrasts” for clarinet, violin, and piano. Performers will include Samuel Park (violin), Rebecca Tobin (clarinet), and Yvonne Chen (piano). This event is free and open to the public.
